About

Built by a family
that needed support

Nobody gets a crash course in running a household. You just start, and then one day you're managing all of it. Two jobs, the appointments, the meals, the groceries, the activities, the dog, and a few hundred small decisions nobody else can see you making.

In most homes that weight settles on one person. In two-income homes it settles harder, because nobody is home with spare capacity to absorb it.

We knew that much from our own house. What we didn't expect was how common it turned out to be in other households. Everybody had a version of it. Nobody had a fix.

Almost nobody, anyway. Wealthy families have solved this for a long time. They hire someone. A house manager, a chief of staff, a person whose actual job is holding the details so nobody else has to carry them around. It works, and it's completely out of reach for almost everybody.

That kind of support shouldn't depend on what you earn. So we're building it for the price of an app.

Kinnie keeps track of what's coming, spots the collisions early, and tells you while there's still time to do something about it. You're not holding all of it on your own anymore.

We're a husband and wife in Toronto with two young kids and a dog, and we're Kinnie's heaviest users. Kinnie runs our house before it runs anyone else's. It's built for all types of families, because while the shape of a household might vary, the weight of running one doesn't.
