What you can expect from Kinnie, what we expect from you, and what happens if something goes wrong.
Last updated September 14, 2026
Kinnie is provided by Kinnie Labs Inc., a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada. These terms are the agreement between you and us about using Kinnie. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.
How we handle your information is covered separately, in the privacy policy, which forms part of this agreement.
You need to be 18 or older and live in Canada. Kinnie isn't offered outside Canada yet.
Kinnie is built around a household, and you can invite other adults into yours. Children don't get accounts. If you add information about your children, or about anyone else, that's your decision and your responsibility.
You're responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in to yourself. Tell us at support@kinnie.ai if you think someone else has got into it.
Your content stays yours. Your calendars, your emails, your photos, your messages, the details of your family's life. We don't claim ownership of any of it.
To run Kinnie for you, we need your permission to handle that content. We store it, read it, pass the necessary parts to the AI companies listed in the privacy policy, and use it to produce reminders, drafts and answers for you. You give us that permission for that purpose, and it ends when you delete your content or your account.
That permission doesn't extend to anything else. We don't sell your content, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use it to train AI models.
Kinnie reads what you connect and what you send it, keeps track of what is coming, and tells you about it. Kinnie adds things to your own calendar and lists once you've approved them. Kinnie drafts messages for you.
Nothing is sent, booked, or bought unless you do it. Kinnie writes the draft. You send it.
Kinnie is built on AI, and AI misreads things. It can pull the wrong date off a form, miss a deadline it should have caught, misunderstand what you meant, or state something confidently that isn't true.
Kinnie is a helper, not a source of truth. Use your own judgment. Check the original for anything that matters, like a medical appointment, a school deadline, a payment, or a flight. Don't rely on Kinnie alone, and don't rely on Kinnie for anything urgent or safety-related.
If you connect a Google calendar, you're also bound by Google's own terms, and what Kinnie can do there is limited to the permissions you granted. You can withdraw those permissions at any time, from inside Kinnie or from your Google account.
We aren't responsible for those services themselves. If Google is down, changes how something works, or loses your data, that's between you and them.
Don't use Kinnie to break the law, to harass anyone, or to gather information about someone to harm them. Don't try to break into it, overload it, pull it apart to copy it, or get around its limits. Don't use it to monitor or track another adult without their agreement.
Kinnie is for your own household. Don't resell it, and don't run several households off one account.
Kinnie is in early access, offered to a limited number of households. It's free during early access. When we open up properly there will be a paid subscription, and we'll tell you what it costs before you're asked to pay anything.
Early access means things change. Features will appear, change, and sometimes be removed. Things will occasionally break. We'll tell you when something meaningful changes, and we want to hear when something is wrong.
You can stop using Kinnie whenever you like, and delete your account from inside the app. When you do, your household's information is deleted from our systems.
If an account breaks these terms, we'll revoke access to it.
Kinnie is provided as it is. We don't promise it will be available without interruption, free of errors, or that what it produces will be accurate or complete. To the extent the law allows, we exclude the implied guarantees that would otherwise apply, including guarantees of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Some consumer protection laws give you rights that can't be excluded. Nothing here takes those away.
To the extent the law allows, Kinnie Labs Inc. isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost profits or lost data, or for anything you missed, misread, or relied on Kinnie for. Kinnie can get things wrong, so checking what matters is your job.
Where we're liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. During early access you pay nothing, so that amount is zero.
Again, nothing here removes rights that consumer protection law says can't be removed.
We may update these terms as Kinnie changes. If we do, we'll change the date at the top, and if the change is significant we'll tell you directly. If you keep using Kinnie after a change, that's your acceptance of it. If you would rather not accept it, you can delete your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario, and we both agree to that.
Questions about any of this go to support@kinnie.ai. A real person reads it.
